2.5 YEAR-OLDS

The Puppies class is for children who are 2.5 years old by the start of school (September 1).  The Puppies are the youngest learners at Montgomery Nursery School.

This two-day program is offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00-11:30 in order to give little ones a gentle introduction to school.  Children are introduced to routines in a loving and repetitive manner.  The Puppies work closely with the teachers to learn how to share, stand in line, sit in circle, and take turns.  Children begin to learn essential concepts such as letters in their names, shapes, colors, and fine motor skills.
